Daniels, 18 size, 15 jewels, key wind and set, gilt plate movement with lever escapement and gold balance in a silver, hinged back and bezel, engine turned and engraved, open face case and Arabic numeral, single sunk, white enamel dial, blued steel spade hands, serial #1000, c1853.
CONDITION:
CASE: Minor dents, back; Dings; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Scratches on cuvette; Engine turning worn smooth; Hinge plug absent; Bezel and back do not snap tight, worn; Bow worn. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, light; Filled chip, 1:30; Glued loss, edge of seconds bit. HANDS: Replaced minute, seconds. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Spotting and staining; Dirty; Losses to gilding. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks); Low balance amplitude, needs service.
